The UKBA team started as three people with a shared vision for the development of a professional framework for Breathwork in the UK. At the point of registering UKBA as a Community Interest Company this team became the founding members and initial Directors of the company. All services provided are on a voluntary basis.
The CIC structure provides for periodic elections for Directors by the membership.
The Directors are assisted by administrative support on a part-time voluntary basis and occasional paid support at busy times.
In preparation for PSA registration, an Ethics Committee is being formed. The Ethics Committee will consist of appointed and elected members.
It is the current intention of the Directors to continue in their roles at least until 2026 when the PSA registration process will be solidly underway.
Offers of support are very much welcome, as it is expected that the team will need to expand somewhat in the run-up to PSA registration.

Hannah Kendaru
I am an Indonesian-British Breathwork practitioner and embodiment facilitator and trainer working on embodied approaches to healing intergenerational, historical, institutional and personal trauma.
I am deeply passionate about the role of breathwork to empower the remembrance of love, liberation and justice and I am deeply interested in decolonising our practice. I am also the of Inspire Breathwork, a breathwork training school rooted in embodied social justice.
My training includes, but is not limited to the Alchemy of Breath Practitioner and Facilitator Training, Women & Power: Reclaiming & Reimagining Power in the World Today, Path of the Shamanic Warrior at The Sanctuary, Embodied Social Justice with EmbodyLab, Somatic Abolitionism Anti-Racism Course with Resmaa Menakem, Positive Discipline and Mindfulness for Stress Release MBSR at The Eden School, and the Advanced Master Program on the Treatment of Trauma at the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioural Medicine.

Mark Conrad
I am committed to promoting, supporting and using tools that build conscious awareness, for application in the health and wellness space and beyond. My journey with Breathwork began in 2006 experimenting with Stan Grof's methods and then undertaking sessions and trainings with Rebirthing schools including Leonard Orr, Sondra Ray and First Breath in the UK. From 2008 I joined the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF) management team and was involved in the annual Global Inspiration Conference (GIC) until 2017. Since 2019 I have been part of the team running the annual Breathe Festival in UK.
Since 2005 I have operated companies in the health and wellness field based in Petersfield, Hampshire. These currently include a centre for NHS and private psychotherapy and a business providing and training a novel bioenergetic testing system for natural health practitioners.
I'm excited this year to be beginning a project to develop a small workshop and retreat centre in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.
The leading-edge work that currently inspires me the most, in which I join regularly, is the unity-consciousness work of the Evolutionary Collective led by Patricia Albere: a journey into 'post-personal' development.

Helen Bradley
Hi, I am a Breathwork practitioner and trainer dedicated to making breathwork truly accessible for all by identifying and removing barriers to its practice.
I have been inspired by and trained with Inspirational Breathing and Breathwork Africa, focusing on the transformative power of conscious breathing while continuing to broaden my knowledge of Breathwork practices and wider therapeutic tools.
I have spent most of my working life as an educator with a passion for child development and nurturing the ‘whole child’. Throughout my teaching career, I remained deeply committed to fostering emotional wellbeing and resilience, integrating social-emotional learning into my everyday teaching practice.
In 2021, I co-founded Pathways to Resilience CIC, a project dedicated to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and building resilience through engaging, research-informed programmes and workshops. This initiative has reached schools, families and professionals across the UK, sharing tools for self-regulation and positive psychology that empower young people and parents to navigate challenges with confidence and compassion.
