Profile
I warmly welcome you to my breathwork practice. My approach is rooted in my experience as a BACP-registered integrative psychotherapist and brings together trauma-informed Conscious Connected Breathwork, somatic awareness, a body-based therapeutic perspective and a deep respect for each person and their unique lived experience.
I offer a grounded, compassionate and carefully held space in which you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and explore what may be present beneath the surface. Through the breath, we can gently deepen awareness of the body, emotions and inner world, creating space for expression, insight, release and a greater sense of connection with yourself.
Breathwork can be a powerful way of accessing aspects of ourselves that are not always easily reached through words alone. I work gently and responsively, rather than pushing towards catharsis or a particular outcome. Sessions are paced around you, your needs, your nervous system, your boundaries and your capacity in the moment, with time and attention given to grounding and integration.
My therapeutic background supports the way I hold breathwork. I understand that our bodies can carry experiences, emotions and protective responses that may have developed over many years. I therefore approach whatever emerges with curiosity and compassion, trusting in the wisdom of both the body and the psyche. Meaningful change does not need to be forced; sometimes, what we are carrying simply needs space to be felt, met and breathed.
My intention is to offer a space where you can meet yourself more deeply and authentically, while feeling supported, respected and free to follow your own process.
I am committed to ethical, inclusive and client-centred practice, and welcome people with a wide range of life experiences and reasons for exploring breathwork.
