Profile
I am a psychotherapist and breathwork facilitator, and I love bringing these two worlds together. For me, breathwork is most powerful when held with the kind of depth, care, and presence that psychotherapy teaches. The breath can take us to unexpected places—into old memories, tender feelings, or new insights—and it matters to have someone alongside who can really listen and support whatever comes up.
In 1:1 sessions, I offer a space where you can safely explore what your breath reveals. My therapeutic background means I can stay present with you, helping you process what arises and gently guiding you towards integration.
In groups and retreats, I bring the same values into a collective setting. I pay attention to the dynamics of the group, creating an atmosphere that feels both safe and freeing. There’s something very special about the way breathwork unfolds in community: the shared energy can open doors that might stay closed alone, while still honouring each person’s unique journey.
Whether working individually or with a group, my aim is always to offer spaces that are nourishing, safe, and real—places where you can meet yourself more fully and discover what your breath has to show you.
I also run Tekifa Breathwork and Brainspotting and the Tekifa website is due to be launched soon. In the meantime, there is information on my psychotherapy website.
Simon Yugler writes that ‘Creating intentional space is an art that has everything to do with the presence of the person holding it and almost nothing to do with the bells and whistles that adorn it’. I entirely agree, although on my retreats I do love to add a few bells and whistles too, such as evocative and well-chosen music, beautiful aromas, gorgeous settings and nourishing vegetarian or vegan food.
