Profile
Davel, founder of AURABREATH, is a certified breathwork practitioner with specialized training across three major breath modalities, offering an unparalleled depth and breadth of expertise.
Her qualifications include Advanced Integrating Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT), Trauma-Informed Facilitation and Somatic Intelligence, Women and Change Psychology and Mental Health First Aid at Work (MHFAW). She currently serves on the Ethics Committee, Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GBPA) and has been a member since 2020.
Davel’s multi-disciplinary approach resonates with people from all walks of life, many of whom have experienced health wake-up calls triggered by chronic stress and emotional turbulence. The people she works with are ready to break free from the exhausting cycle of racing thoughts, self doubt, worrying and disrupted sleep patterns, eager to reconnect with their embodied wisdom.
Her work is premised upon the fact that the breath never lies, it is direct reflection of how people respond and react to life, offering profound insights into the nervous system, the brain-body-soul connection. This belief prompted Davel to train in three distinct spheres of breathwork, therapeutic (mental-emotional-spiritual), functional and coherence (physiological- mental), alongside the foundation of contemporary breathwork, pranayam.
Davel is currently trialling a unique breath practice related to tinnitus and acoustic neuroma- contact her for more details.
Davel is committed to:
• Ethical standards, equity and socio-cultural competence: honouring the wisdom behind traditional and functional science, from Vedic and Qigong breath knowledge to metaphysics.
• Root cause and sustained recovery: integrating nervous system regulation with deep sense of self-awareness, enabling people to survive and reclaim their agency; anytime and anywhere.
• Inclusivity: supporting healing and holistic health services that are available to all, from people who can afford wellness spaces to those living in marginalized communities.
• Enabling women and Asians to navigate the complex life journey from sexism, colonialism, and implicit bias to connectedness with self, community and this planet.
